Aaron’s crawling!
My baby… The one with low muscle tone and who is slightly behind in motor skill development is on the move and we couldn’t be more ecstatic! He’s a couple months behind when his brother crawled and a couple months behind other kid’s his age, but every kid is different, right? Everyone who’s seen him (doctors, physical therapists, etc.) say he’ll be able to do everything a normal kid can do… Crawl, walk, talk, etc. He just won’t be that athletic.
I see a Disney special in the making… Expectations are low and now we have the next Olympic gold medalist in our hands! Okay maybe not, but there’s hope and we aren’t going to let others tell us otherwise.
So go on with your mobile self, Aaron! We’re rooting you on!

Kids are so adorable. Yes I’m a bit biased towards mine (‘cuz they really are totally adorable), but I mean kids in general. The best part is their innocence and the funny things they say or how they comprehend certain situations.
For example, my oldest Aiden (3) passed a little gas the other day and it just so happened the baby started crying immediately after. Aiden’s response? “Oops, I think I scared him.”
Another time Aiden was on the phone with Grandma. Apparently he lost interest in the conversation so he said, “Here, mama… Your mother’s on the phone.” After I didn’t respond he said, “Hurry up, Mama… Your mom wants to talk to you!”
They pick up things quick and they hear EVERYTHING… My husband says they get it from me… So watch what you do and listen to what you say… You’ll quickly realize how bad of an influence you really are.

We’re literally on our way to Vegas for the Kidshow. Talk about a road trip… Definitely not cross-country or anything, but with two kids in tow, it sure can feel like it!
Our SUV is packed to the roof and it’s got me thinking we might need a bigger set of wheels soon. If you put together the fact that I hate to fly (so we’ll drive as often as possible), we still want to expand our family (crazy, we know) and the fact that I couldn’t put my feet on the floor most of the trip because we needed that space for storage, I think we’ve come to the conclusion we need to go bigger!
So what should we look for as our next family ride? How do you go larger without breaking the bank at the gas pump? How do you go bigger while still looking super cool?
Hmmm… All good questions. Feel free to chime in, ‘cuz I don’t quite have the answer yet!

My sister-in-law is getting married (yay!) on Saturday and we couldn’t be happier for her. Unfortunately this week has been crazy busy and as usual… We’re running around like chickens with our heads cut off. There’s a ton of things we need to bring with us… Here’s my shortlist:
Bridesmaid dress – Luckily I got it back in time!
Ring bearer tux – Cuz our little man is in the wedding.
Gift – Will they let you in without one?
Tissues – I cry at everything!
Makeup – At the request of the bride.
Makeup Artist – Cuz I don’t know how to put any of it on!
Pillow – ‘cuz it’s gonna be a long day for everyone.
Congratulations, guys! We can’t wait for the little babies that will surely follow!

I swore with my blogging software accessible on my iPhone I would be blogging more frequently, but here I am almost a week since my last post and I’ve barely thought about the blog! Sorry!
I wanted to announce that we’ll be attending the upcoming Kidshow in Las Vegas. It’s going to be 3 days of hard core sales and we can’t wait! If you plan on being in Vegas that week ‘cuz there’s a ton of fashion shows going on, then stop on by! We’d love to see you!
Kidshow will be held in Bally’s Las Vegas from August 25 – 27. If you can’t get to the show… Meet us poolside or at the blackjack tables!
